Eduardo Jedruch, CommScope Inc
Telecommunications Engineer graduated from the University Blas Pascal in the province of Cordoba, Argentina. With more than 17 years in the industry, Eduardo held senior positions in major companies. Founding member of the FTTH Council LATAM Chapter, Eduardo held previously in the organization, the positions of Finance Chairman and Technology Director, and also serves as Master Instructor for the Professional FTTH international certification program given by the FTTH Council LATAM Chapter.
He currently serves as Network Architect for the CALA region CommScope Inc.

Hector Moreno, EXFO
Héctor Moreno has more than 22 years of experience in the Test & Measurement Industry for Telecommunications, and over this period of time he had the opportunity to play different roles from technical support, sales engineer, sales manager while being in close contact with Telecom technologies. He is currently Sales Director at EXFO, responsible for the Latin American and Caribbean market. Prior to EXFO he held the Sales Manager position at Wandel & Goltermann de México.
Héctor Moreno has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from ITESM “Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, México” and Master in Business Administration from IPADE “Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas, México”.

Director: Ricardo Claro, Corning Optical Communications
Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering and holding MBA in Marketing and Project Management, Ricardo Claro has +15 years of experience in Telecom industry and during his career supported several projects involving wireless, fiber access and IPTV technologies for Latin America Telecom market. Ricardo has been active in the FTTH Council over the years since LATAM Chapter was created in 2009.
As Marketing and Market Development manager for Corning has responsibility to lead regional business and develop Fiber to the Home market in Caribe and Latin America. Ricardo is also a professor in regular courses of Electronics and Telecommunications.
LATAM Public Relations Commitee
Director: Nelson Saito, Furukawa
Nelson Saito, graduated from Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, in 1985, in Electrical Engineering and has specialization courses in New Product Innovation from Stanford University, USA, New Product Development from University of California, USA, and Innovation Consulting from Unindus / Tech University Compiègne (UTC), France. He has over 25 years experience in Telecommunications and Information Systems, Marketing, Business Strategy and Finance Systems.
Since 1984 Nelson Saito has been working for Furukawa Industry in areas as Process Engineering, R & D, Marketing, New Product Development, New Business Generation, and Technology of Information. He is currently responsible for managing the broadband solutions business and structured cabling solutions.
LATAM Technology Committee
Director: Rogerio Lopes, Sumitomo Electric Lightwave
Business development – International, with responsibility for the Latin America & Caribbean territory. Rogerio Lopes manages all business aspects for product lines covering different divisions such as: Lightwave Network Products, Fiber Cable, and ABF (FutureFlex) air blown fiber. Rogerio has spent the last 15 years in different Telecom Sales & Business development leadership positions, covering the Latin America & Caribbean territory for Fortune 500 & Fortune 200 Global Manufacturers, including JDSU, Danaher, Tektronix & Sumitomo Electric Lightwave.
He has been an active member on behalf of Sumitomo Electric Lightwave, both as a Master Instructor, and as the acting Public Relations Chair member, supporting the FTTH Council Americas - LATAM Chapter regional initiative & all training events throughout the CALA Region. He graduated in 1991 from Florida International University, Miami, FL, USA

Director: Reinaldo Jeronymo - Prysmian Draka Brasil S/A
Reinaldo Jeronymo has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, especially in the areas of optical fibers and cables. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the College of Industrial Engineering, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Reinaldo Jeronymo also has specialization in optical systems and a Masters in Marketing. He has an active role in the areas of Development, Operations, Marketing, and Sales in the business.
Reinaldo Jeronymo is currently the South America Commercial director of Prysmian Draka Brasil S/A and will also be overseeing Prysmian Group’s area of Institutional Relations for Telecommunications.

Director: Guilherme Fuhrken - Calix
Guilherme Fuhrken has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from PUC-RJ, Brazil, with over 25 years experience in the telecommunications market, having worked for several manufacturers of innovative solutions such as Calix, Juniper Networks, Nortel Networks, and Bay Networks. Focused on helping customers in the best solution to their problems and optimize the business model for the provision of telecommunication services.
