||Large telecommunications operators, deploying fiber optic networks at scale, face three main challenges:
1. They have a large volume of complex engineering and construction data that they need to collect and manage. The current approach to collecting and reporting information across a mobile workforce is a combination of emails, phone calls and spreadsheets.
2. Additionally, there is the need to integrate data between several key enterprise information systems like: GIS and CAD, financial accounting, enterprise schedule and inventory management systems. As teams struggle to connect these systems, data integrity and decision-making are both compromised.
3. Finally, geo-spatially diverse construction programs, involve a large number of stakeholders. Including all levels of government and multiple Right-of-Way owners, each of whom impact costs and schedules. Coordination between stakeholders is inefficient at best and in many cases, can derail a program.
This webinar provides 4 practical strategies that developers can implement in order to reduce costs, lower working capital and increase schedule reliability.
