NKT Photonics will celebrate the grand opening of their Boston office on Oct. 30. The facility…will not only serve as a headquarters for U.S. sales and support, but will also accommodate state-of-the-art single-frequency fiber laser production and an application and service laboratory. Stephen Phillips will serve as operations manager for the facility. NKT Photonics is a supplier of high-performance fiber lasers and photonic crystal fibers, with applications in imaging, sensing, and materials processing. The company supplies ultrafast lasers, such as supercontinuum sources, low-noise fiber lasers, distributed temperature sensing systems, and a range of specialty fibers.
