Frauscher Sensor Technology USA exhibited at the ASLRRA (American Short Line Railroad Association) 2019 Connections Convention, April 7-9 in Orlando, Florida. Representatives from Frauscher’s Technical Sales and Engineering teams were on hand to showcase wheel detection and axle counter products. It was a large event with over 1,700 attendees and 175 exhibitors, showcasing many products & services for the industry. The speakers and breakout sessions covered many topics, including quality assurance, grade crossing issues, buying & selling railroads, joint and rail maintenance, PTC – lessons learned, legislative approaches to state DOTs and future opportunities for rail.
