Call for Nomination to serve as Director of Regulations

The Fiber Broadband Association LATAM Chapter is seeking nomination to fill the open position on the LATAM Regulatory Committee, on the Board of Directors, to help lead the organization dedicated to furthering the adoption of high-quality fiber access networks in Latin America. The director selected will be joining to the ongoing organization that will be serving the LATAM Chapter until March 2019. Nominations must be received no later than August 10, 2018.

The primary responsibility of the Regulatory Committee is to advocate towards regional activities and establishing government relations with the Latin American governments, in accordance with our mission. A big part of this work involves active engagement and cooperation with the Fiber Broadband Association LATAM Chapter Board to promote throughout Latin America the adoption of high-quality fiber optic access networks as a universal broadband-bidirectional platform, to promote economic development and improve the quality of life resulting from such adoption in the fields of Education, Health, Defense and Security of the population.

In order to be nominated to serve on the position, the professional must be from a Premier Member company (Other categories can upgrade their membership to nominate a candidate). The name selected will be chosen by the LATAM Board of Directors.
